AI WITH ALDRIN

A fitbit in your skull ?

"If we were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't." ~ Lyall Watson

What if  I said............

Out of all the mind-bending physical entities in the known universe, there is something more intricate that holds a singularity in space and time.

                                           what could it be......?

                  WELCOME TO THE HUMAN BRAIN

                          The Cathedral of Complexity

It is unmatched in its ability to think ,to communicate, and to reason.

Even after studying the brain for ages , there is still  some grey area over it.. Even if we gather all of the brilliant minds on the planet and hold a brain in our hands, its inner workings and connections will still  remain wrapped in an enigma.

with the rapid development in neural networks , deep learning and neural prosthetics , the chances of unwrapping it is propitious.

At the leading edge are these mysterious and clandestine companies, vying for the crown of future revelation.

  NEURALINK

It is a  fully implantable, cosmetically invisible brain-computer interface to let you control a computer or mobile device anywhere you go.

Just like a "Fit bit in your skull"   Musk said back in 2016

It sparked a technological brain storm with skepticism in the people's mind, while some of them regarded it as an unintended speculation.

NEURALINKS FORETHOUGHT ("DRAWN DIRECTLY FROM "THE TECHNO-SOPHISTICATE")

AI is one of ELON's on-going anxiety....but merging it with the humans doesn't seem humane to me.....However, they adhere to the credo

"If you can't beat the machines then become one"

"First @Neuralink product will enable someone with paralysis to use a smartphone with their mind faster than someone using thumbs," Musk said in April 2021.

     -HOLD UP-

But how?

This is gonna sound pretty eerie.....

Micron-scale threads would be implanted into the  brain regions that regulate movement. Each thread includes numerous electrodes and connects them to a device known as the "Link."

These filaments, which are thinner than a human hair, are sewed together with our blood vessels, forming a complicated intertwined structure that connects over 1,000 divergent neurons throughout the organ.

Musk also stated that he intends to purchase one. "You could have a Neuralink device implanted right now and have no idea. In other words, hypothetically... In fact, in one of these demos, I will,” he said

Imagine an upgraded iteration of "RICK SANCHEZ" from "Rick and Morty" .Cool but precarious right?

Hypothetically speaking ,after all this darwinism what'll be our state of mind  ?

AFTER EFFECTS:

with all this  metamorphosis there  must  be a complicacy or aftereffects right ???

well read this....

"I've begun to wonder what's me, and what's the depression, and what's the stimulator," one patient said.

I'm morally petrified.

Personality, identity, authenticity are hard to comprehend, "US"  culminating it certainly leads to existential crisis.

Even  though Sci-fi fostered films and Tv shows made us  credulous, the alternate fact of cognitive changes beyond the scope of their intended applications will haunt us!

 How far?

“We think probably in about six months, we should be able to have a Neuralink installed in a human,” Musk said at the event.

According to the company, its most recent technology can heal paralysis, blindness, memory loss, and other neurological illnesses. It is said to be capable of enabling "superhuman vision" or allowing humans to interact with computers.

Neuralink, meanwhile, has been dogged by a history of overhyped promises — failing to deliver on timelines, for example, and reportedly triggering a federal investigation into claims of animal-welfare violations. The market-intelligence firm Grand View Research valued the global brain-implants market at $4.9 billion in 2021, and other firms have projected that the figure could double by 2030.

The technology for implanting artificial intelligence chips in the human brain is still in its infancy, and it offers both possibilities and threats. Although this technology has the potential to transform the way we interact with technology and enhance the quality of life for people suffering from neurological and psychiatric illnesses, it is critical to address possible ethical and privacy concerns, as well as the long-term consequences. To ensure that the technology is used for its intended purposes and that its benefits are optimized, it is critical to watch its application and growth, as well as to put in place the effective privacy and safety safeguards.

 The box of controversies

According to documents reviewed by the Reuters and sources familiar with the investigation and company operations, the company faced a federal investigation for potential animal-welfare violations at the time when its employees complained that the testing is being rushed, causing unnecessary sufferings and deaths.

Since 2018, the business has slaughtered approximately 1,500 animals, including over 280 sheep, piglets, and primates.

                                  That's disheartening

We idolize and are engrossed in the concept of rapid technological progress. But the notion that we are heading into a "cyborgian era" seems delusional? Are we going too far ahead of ourselves? will oversight be the cause of an omen ?

Do we consider this an Elevation or a Blunder?
